Board of Commissioners has approved changes to the 2017-18 calendar: March 16 will be a half-day for students, waiver will be requested from the state to open schools on April 2, last day will be June 15. Read more: baltimorecityschools.org/Page/33330

Pt1: On this Martin Luther King Day, we honor our longtime substitute teacher, Mr. Ronald Huff, who our students affectionately call “Pops.” Mr. Huff marched with Dr. King in Atlanta when Mr. Huff was 23 years old and attending graduate school at Atlanta University in 1960

Pt5 he is currently saving up for a spring trip to France to visit his daughter. Today, we honor Dr. King, and Mr. Huff, and the thousands of other people who resisted and fought to make our country a better, more equal place.
