@EichnerNate @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles He was a Number 1 pick…they’re jobs were on the line if they didn’t give him time…Hurts is a true 3rd or 4th round nfl talent when Howie picked him in the second. Two totally different talent levels
@t4yo_ @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles So what’s your plan? What do you do from here?
@EichnerNate @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles My plan would be for Hurts to finish out the season for sure. He hasn’t done anything to get benched. If we get those three top ten picks next year I’m definitely taking a QB
@t4yo_ @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles This QB draft class is bad tho- who would you pick?
@EichnerNate @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles Me graduating from Jackson State I’ve seen Matt Carrol on a few occasions in person. He has a strong arm. But other than him you’re right it’s not a strong draft…he might go first and I doubt we’ll have the first pick unless they trade up
@t4yo_ @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles I would never be okay w us moving up to draft Corral. Dude isn’t bad, he’s just not number 1 pick material
@EichnerNate @t4yo_ @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles Josh Allen Sam darnold baker Mayfield Goff all sucked coming out the gate. With the exception of Josh Allen look at them he'll look at this year rookie class Lawrence Wilson Jones in New England all struggling
@SmoothBully @EichnerNate @ZabbyYT @clarencecooper4 @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles You named all top ten drafted QBs… They deserved to be afforded time to develop. Hurts is not a top ten talent.
@t4yo_ @SmoothBully @EichnerNate @ZabbyYT @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles Your logic makes no sense if your a top ten pick you should get more time to develop than someone by all accounts is less talented ? If anything you should expect more sooner out of higher picks and great qbs have struggled early in their career
@clarencecooper4 @SmoothBully @EichnerNate @ZabbyYT @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles Because GMs have to feed their families and legacy. Imagine going to your boss and telling him you have a less talented player who’s ceiling might be a top 15 QB but we need years to develop him compared to we have this talent who’s ceiling is HOF but we need years to develop him
@t4yo_ @clarencecooper4 @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles GM’s rarely get things right in the draft, which is why where you’re drafted shouldn’t decide whether or not you have time to develop.
@EichnerNate @clarencecooper4 @SmoothBully @ZabbyYT @INHURTSWETRUST @Eagles You’re absolutely correct…but there are GMs who consistently drafts great talent. Howie is not one of them he only drafted 3 pro bowlers ever out of 80 picks. I get y’all overall premise with development. But you have to trust the GM who’s picking that draft pick to invest years
