Rumours around the camp say the war is over everything is over all my faith has been lost how could they do the to us my father lost his life for nothing. All of thus for being Jewish. #chapter9

The allie forces came to our camp today the war is over this hell on earth is over everything all for nothing. #chapter9

He beat my ill father how could someone so evil and cruel beat a sick hopeless man I was so fearful of a beating that I froze still. #chapter8

Today marks the day my father died January 29, 1945 It pains me that I cannot mourn his death for I am too weak and nimble.#chapter8

My father is getting more sick by the day I worry for his health. #chapter7

We have been on the train for a couple of hours now and I have just witnessed someone’s kid beat up their father for a portion of bread I have lost all hope in this world. #chapter7

They locked everyone up in a room so small that it was nearly impossible to get a gulp of fresh air, I saw the people around me collapse and die infront of me from suffocating hoping I wasn’t next. #chapter6

We were sent into the cattle carts again and it was 100 persons per cart I hated it so much I wanted to curl up and die and never live another day in this awful world. #chapter6

My faith in god has vanished for I no longer fear for going to hell because I am already in it. #chapter5

They said my father is next for execution he handed a knife and spoon to keep I hope he does a painless death. #chapter5

I talked to the French girl I was working with, I found out she is Jewish disguised as a German she had told me she has false papers which let her work in the factory and watch over us Jews…she gave me hope. #chapter4

The allies are bombing the factories I’ve never felt more hope than now, I heard they were bombing the Buna factory which my father was working at. I hope they do i would love to get revenge on those damn Nazis. #chapter

They beat me the ss beat me and my father. Those damn pigs will die an agony death all of this beating and torture all because my father cannot walk in step. How pity of me to blame him, he’s never been in the military. It could always be worse I am alive. #chapter4

They are burning bodies how can the world not know about the cruelty that is going on in Auschwitz. The nazi solders are making us work until we die and if we don’t work they will kill us anyways, this is hell on earth… I just want to go home. #chapter3

My father and I have arrived at the concentration camp in Auschwitz. When we got here a prisoner told us that we are no younger than 18 and no older than 40 he says if we are younger or older they would kill us because we wouldn’t be useful to them. #chapter3

Update of the cattle carts: we’ve been without food or water for a while now and I’m starting to get thirsty. It’s so packed in here that I’m getting claustrophobic theirs no places to sit and the people around me smell I am not enjoying this. #chapter2

Today was a horrible day for my family and I, we were put on the cattle carts like an animal and we are currently being transported to an unknown destination. I am scared.. #chapter2

The Germans had occupied the ghettos and brought many cattle carts with them, the people are frightened and scared. Father says we will be safe and they won’t hurt us but I have other thoughts. #chapter1

Update: my family and I have left the town of Sighet and have moved to the ghettos which now we call “home”. Many may think that we are upset but I believe we are lucky to be alive and safe. Things could always be worse. #chapter1

Moishe the Beedle was my mentor, he helped me get become closer with my faith and religion. #chapter1
