In 1984, Park Güell, Güell Palace and Casa Milà were declared World Heritage Sites. In 1985, Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo were declared World Heritage, followed in 1997 by Santullano, Foncalada, the Holy Chamber of Oviedo and Santa Cristina de Lena.
