We can't continue to base every policy and action on one potential consequence. We have to find a better balance. Outdoor children's sport for example. The benefits for children's mental and physical health far outweigh the risks. Surely Government must accept that?
In all of this noise, we can't forget that hundreds more people than usual are dying in their homes every week. The non-COVID health crisis is a national tragedy and it's barely mentioned. It deserves far more of our attention.
