“Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” (Jer. 23:29) I love this story.
I suspect that it matters far more how long I prayed than it does how long I preached.
Some weeks it seems like the news comes faster than our hearts can keep up. But tragedies and systemic failures do not get the last word. God will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. In the midst of hurt, there is hope.
I'll remember this moment, standing with a true hero of the faith, the rest of my life. Sam James planted @SummitRDU 60 years ago, then served God in Vietnam 54 years. We are harvesting seeds of faith he planted. His words dripped with Holy Spirit unction. buff.ly/3GQxrgX

Today, I'm starting 'red devil' chemo, which is the most brutal and (hopefully the most effective) form. Side effects are serious -- If I cry, it'll be red tears! -- so please pray for the next few weeks of this treatment. I'm scared!
The “signees” transferring are early enrollees, who are already attending classes. The spring semester at UA started last week.

Back from NOLA & RK’s neurosurgery update. Mixed report. Progress clear, but 4 very small spots revealed on the MRI. After her 6th & final chemo on Monday, we return to NOLA for Gamma Knife procedure next Friday. Thankfully does not affect her prognosis. Thanks for prayers!
In NOLA today for my Beloved’s three month check up with her neurosurgery team. Full day of scans and appointments, but will be glad to hear updates on her progress since that unexpected day in February when they found a mass on her brain. Grateful for God’s grace & your prayers!
