I fell in love with 2 books last night while reading to my children. A Girl Like You and A Boy Like You empower readers with messages of strength and individuality while including a diverse representation of children as characters. The illustrations are whimsical and inviting.
This phrase...this lens of seeing children...literally changed my life. 6 words burned in my brain from the day I opend the book The Explosive Child. Parenting a 3yo not-yet-identified ASD boy was my journey and those words were magic. ❤️
