@FIREDUpWealth I have $NKE on my watchlist but it would require a generational buying opportunity at $31 a share (19% drop). That would make the business trade at 1x sales, a valuation not seen since the great financial crisis. Every businesss has a price, even turnarounds.

$NKE is getting tempting. • ~$57B market cap • ~$46.4B TTM sales • ~1.2x P/S • One of the strongest brands in the world My concerns are management has made some costly mistakes, the turnaround is taking longer than expected, and apparel is an inherently fickle industry.

$AXP is an incredible business at a valuation that’s getting interesting. • Revenue +10% YoY in Q2 • EPS +11% YoY in Q2 • Card Member spending +9% to $455.8B • $10.8B TTM net income • ~$219B market cap • ~20x TTM earnings I also love that it’s a classic Buffett stock.
