Two weekends ago I ran the Evo 8 in the new XSA class that came out this year. Extreme Street is intended for drivers with modified level cars, such as mine, who want to run on 200 treadwear street tires. Codriver @JFoleyRacing set the fastest time of day! #fastcar #fastdriver

Far back Friday post. The first car I ever bought was a 1987 Mazda RX7 back in 1995. I was so proud of that car. I put on intake, headers, and exhaust. It sounded super cool. Then one day I hit a puddle of water, hydroplaned, and spun in to the concrete divider wall.

I should buy, daily, and autocross an old police car. When people ask me why - I can just tell them, "It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas."

This is me giving the second place sign after morning autocross runs. But after the afternoon runs, this became the sign for victory because I drove to first place against eighteen others in class. My @EvoDynamics built Evolution VIII ran awesome and together, we took the win.

Way back in the day, when we used to autocross at Pennington field in Bedford, Texas, my friend Jason Eason loaded up his Mitsubishi Evolution with three passengers and took a fully loaded autocross run. youtu.be/EmcSr7TNhBQ

Totally stoked and pumped up for the 2019 autocross season. I went to register for the NTAXS winter event in Mineral Wells, Texas but registration isn't open until January 3rd. But come January 3rd, unless something keeps me from it, I will be registering and I will be there!

I've owned my evo since 2008 and will likely keep it forever. Over those years we've done hundreds of auto cross runs. Only blown up one motor and one rear differential. I think that's pretty good over all.

Public service announcement. Pull up to the line when you're at a red light. Don't stop a whole car length back. It might not trigger the light and you'll be sitting there long enough for someone to take a picture, edit it, and post it to social media.
