@ObdurateVision "Or are you just short? Ah I'm kidding!" He laughed and slowed down his pace for the female once outside. After a stressful day at work, he could now relax with the woman he loved. Of course he wouldn't tell her though, at least not yet.

@ObdurateVision "Okay, I'll try to put myself first a little more from now on if it makes you happy, alright?" A chuckle left Gavin and he nodded, motioning his head towards the exit of the police station. "Come on then, try and keep up."

@ObdurateVision "I think you and I both know that I do though..." He thought about her suggestion and just nodded. "Sure. The park's not too far from the station here, let's go and watch the sunset hmm?"

@ObdurateVision "Mirah, I'll /always/ worry about you..." He sighed and lightly took ahold of her wrist, leading her outside of the interview room. "I promised you I'd take you somewhere, so where would you like to go?"

@ObdurateVision Once the interview is complete, Gavin calls in one of his fellow officers to take the offender back to the cells. Once they were alone, he turned to Mirah, looking down at her. "Are you alright? I saw the way he was looking at you. If I hadn't been on duty..."

@ObdurateVision - small female to protect her from prying eyes. It was his job to protect the city, but it was his life to protect Mirah.

@ObdurateVision - the suspects body language as he began to interview him. His questions were short and blunt, Gavin being the cold rebel that everyone had assumed he was in high school during his "police captain" mode. He saw the suspect eyeing Mirah and immediately stepped in front of the -

@ObdurateVision He couldn't help but to chuckle as the female gets off of his beloved Sparky. "Silly girl." He smiled as he removed the helmet, placing it on the handlebars. "Stick close to me and you'll be fine, alright?" He speaks as he makes his way into the station.

"Remember what I told you when we first met? I'm the least likely to hurt you." He made sure her arms were tightly secured around his waist before heading off. It wasn't long before he arrived outside the police station and stopped the bike, getting off and helping Mirah.

“I’m placing my life in your hands here.” She jokes softly, though as always she’s a little apprehensive when she climbs on. Unlike when they first reconnected, she’s not as hesitant anymore and almost immediately holds onto him. Nervous or not, she knows she’s safe with Gavin.

Gavin led her to his beloved Sparky, putting his helmet on her for her utmost safety. He'd rather get hurt any day than her, it had always been that way. He got onto the motorcycle and motioned for her to get on too as he started the engine. "Don't worry, you're safe!"

She really doesn’t like the motorcycle, but spending time with Gavin makes it all worth it. Nodding a few times, she puts on her bravest expression. She trusts Gavin with all her heart, after all. “Okay, I got this! Let’s go?”

"Although, that will mean a ride on Sparky." He chuckled at the mention of his beloved motorcycle that he loved so much....and that Mirah didn't. "But it's alright, just hold on tight. I won't let you fall, I promise."

She pouts a little at his words, though her spirits lift when he tells her that she can come along on his last interview. “Yes please, I’d love that!” Truthfully, she’d missed spending time with him more than anything, even if she wasn’t going to admit it.

"I missed you too, however I'm on duty right now." He looks at his wrist to check his watch before looking back at her. "I only have one more interview to conduct today and then my shift is over, why don't you tag along and I'll take you out somewhere afterwards?"

She smiles brightly when he turns to face her. It’s been a while since the two of them last saw each other, and there’s something comforting in being around her favourite police officer again. “Could you spare a little bit of your company? It’s for a good cause— I missed you!”

The police officer on duty turned to see Mirah, his serious expression immediately softening at the sight of the only person who really knew him. "And what can this Officer do for you, Miss?"
