Since posting this I've learned and come to respect Charlie a lot more. He was willing to tell Trump he's wrong in private, was starting to criticize Israel more. I always knew his faith was sincere, that's been affirmed even more and I do respect that, it's just not my jam

Can we just all agree that the house is wasting everyone's time voting on meaningless resolutions? Yes, it's bad some democrats voted not to honor Charlie but it's even dumber that elected officials are basically voting on whether or not they thought someone was a good person.

Why are so many people acting like the FBI did a bad job here. They caught the guy in less than a day and a half. Can't imagine them doing much better. Do we all really yearn for a state so all seeing and powerful they can pin point any one of us at all times?
On average, yes, but this time it's different. Everyone needs to see the brutality of this crime. This one will awaken people to the horrors, not numb them. Where that leads them though, that's another story.

I never liked Charlie Kirk. Too much religion, blind support for Israel, seemed a little shameless in his willingness to tow the line with Trump. But you see that video there's something visceral. My political views haven't changed but I'm 100% on his team right now.

I'm far afraid of artificial intelligence developing free will than any superhuman capabilities.
Ironically, sports is what shows this isn't an issue and promotes growth. Happens all the time where you go from the top athlete on your team then move up to the next level and are riding the bench. Sure there may be an adjustment but this encourages people to grow & improve.
