#AskingAutistics do any #ActuallyAustistic people have advice for being totally overwhelmed? It’s been the hardest day at work I’ve ever had, and I’ve also just had a long conversation about my 24 y/o brother’s short life expectancy. My brain hurts. Everything hurts.

Dealing with the upcoming change in routine (camping for a few days) by getting as prepared as I can. I have a limited diet and not having access to a fridge for 4 days makes things tricky, but I think this will be ok...?!

#AskingAutistics do any #ActuallyAutistic people have any advice for camping? I’m going to a (chill) festival at the end of this week. I’m looking forward to the days’ activities, but NOT to the loss of routine, lack of hygiene stuff, and being around so many strangers 🤔😕

#AskingAutistics I (gently) brought up the idea of exploring being #ActuallyAutistic with my mum today. She is sceptical but willing to read more/let me explain (which I don’t have the words for atm). Any advice for taking my mind off it all tonight? I’m all shaky & wobbly now

My first question for the #ActuallyAutistic community tonight is how to go about approaching my parents to talk about going for DX? I think they will be surprised, and am worried they’ll dismiss it. I’m 22, but know/think they might need to be involved in assessment?
