Ok but like, what's the alternative. Spikes have the most consistent hitbox across all levels, unless we we (top plat players) wanna deal with awkward changed hitboxes between every level with no consistency, there really isn't a way to go about this.

for not wanting hard platformer play to be a thing, he doesn't rate anything and when he does he goes into the comments to complain about said level, which generalize the platformer community which then divides the plat community from the general gd community further.

and there are over 30 unrated levels after than the current rated top 1, Free Solo. Theres also over 50 levels harder than The Abyss. It isnt like all these levels are bad either. In fact, there are multiple unrated hard levels that get sent all the time. Heres a long list 😁

Lists like "The Platformer List" (gdplatformerlist.com) include both rated and unrated levels. Because rateds barely increase in difficulty, the community has been advancing in difficulty through this list. The unrated levels featured in this list take up 9/10 of the list-

Because they barely ever get any new extreme pemons, their list has basically stayed stagnated in difficulty for the foreseeable future. Because of this, the entire list community has been slowly shifting over to unrated levels after completing the small amount of extreme pemons

This is extremely bad for the list side of things, lists such as Pemonlist (pemonlist.com) who only focus on rated pemons like Pointercrate. Their community has been stuck with relatively easy levels for the entirety of 2.2, with only a small of extreme pemons.

For the past 3 MONTHS, Robtop has rated a total of 2 PEMONS. One back in May, and one during July. From the perspective of the classic community, this may sound completely insane but it is the dark reality the platformer community has to suffer with.

From this point forward, I will be addressing extreme demons in platformer as "pemon(s)." Pemon is a term the community has created so I will use it because I am heavily involved with said community at this point.

I know RobTop recently saw the problem with the lack of auto rates and started rating them, which is really awesome, but another difficulty that isn't getting same treatment is platformer extreme demons, we have gotten only 18 since the updates release, or six months.
