In these difficult times the EPL team are trying to find more ways to give back to the local community. They are currently volunteering their time with Foyle Foodbank to help deal with the increased demand to deliver food to the vulnerable in our community

After such a difficult year for everyone it’s great for our SU’s to be able to give something back to their local communities. Our Joinery department has made these beautiful rocking horses that were gifted to Sure Start,Little Orchids, Ashmore house , Currynerian CC.

There are 35 refugee resettlement families based in Donegal. Ciara Cronin from the refugee resettlement programme in Inishowen accepted a rocking horse on behalf of the families. We hope the families enjoy! @SEUPB @PEACEIV

EPL is very proud of the hard work undertaken by our Horticulture SU’s and tutor who have volunteered their time and newly gained skills to help local charities who were in need of some gardening work. We are sure everyone was very impressed with the end results @SEUPB @PEACEIV

EPL is so proud of the hard work of our SU’s so we are giving something back over the festive period. 12 Rocking Horses have been made by them to be distributed across various charitable and welfare organisations. The first lucky recipient is Irish Cancer Care @SEUPB @extern

Behind door #1 is.. the #EUFunded, #INTERREGVA @InnovationRecov Team. During the COVID19 lockdown, the team developed a fantastic online programme of 45 free courses, which are still running, to ensure that access to mental health & wellbeing training is available for everyone.
