@DoctorBenjy It's incredibly easy to sell to Saudi clubs

So this is where we are continuing his fathers legacy going into the 63/64 season as head coach of Armenia Bielefeld. I will be posting updates almost daily as the save progresses up to the release of FM26. #footballmanager #FM24 #FMJourneyman #journeyman

So after a succesful job interview we find ourselves at Armenia Bielefeld. Relegated to the 2nd budesliga and riddled with over 100m in debt it's going to be a challenge but also a great opportunity to get into the Bundesliga sooner rather than later.

The plan was to try fight for a spot in the division next season but with our young stars getting picked up by bigger clubs and with our wage budget not allowing us to make much of an improvement I decided it might be a good place to start looking for new jobs.

With a 18y/o starting in the defensive midfield pivot, a 17y/o in attacking midfield and another 17y/o right winger we did the unimanigable and gained automatic promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

Got a bit bored of my long term journeyman save I had going since the release of FM24 so I got creative. Instead of starting a completely new save I retired my very succesful manager after over 2000 games in charged and brought his son into the game to continue the legacy.

This allowed us to significantly improve the squad in multiple areas and bring in really good bench players without compromising our philosophy of player development and support for young players making a break in the first team.

First season in charge we made very little changes to the squad focusing on bringing in 2 or 3 quality first team players and some squad depth. Finished the first season underwellmingly in 11th but Aachen stuck with us and backed us with a big increase to the wage budget.

Alex Donovan born in Mallorca during his fathers stint as manager of the Islands La Liga reprenetatives. Started of with his first job coming from the 3rd division in Germany with Aachen. After a 5th place finish the year before it was going to be a big job to top that.

Wow. What a summer have we had so far. Our starting DM, CM, GK and Striker leave the club. Bringing in a combined 225 million to the club we've greatly improved out financial position and now it's time to dive into the market and bring in some replacements. #FM24

Until we can reach the financial super power level of PSG we won't be able to compete and keep out good players. We have to capitalise on it with good recruitment and development to improve our financial situation as much as possible. #FM24

I am currently trying to manage through the summer window ahead of the 44/45 season with the majority of my stronger players trying to secure moves to better teams and leagues. Unfortunately this is how it's going to be for us for a while.

First season in France was very succesful finishing top of the Ligue 1 and winning Rennes first ever league title. It felt great especially with little to no major imporvements made to the squad in the summer windown. #FM24 📷

I'm currently at Stade Rennes. After conquering England, Italy and Germany, France was my next destination. Btw I never managed to win the La Liga with Mallorca. Barcelona were just too strong at the time for us to compete. Hopefully I can go back there at some point to win it.

I know I haven't posted in a while but here I am now, I got an urge all of a sudden. If anyone is wondering I am still playing the same save as I was in my last post but a lot has happened since I've left Mallorca. #FM24

3 seasons but we got there with 5 games to go. We're still trying to finish as high as possible. Currently sitting in 3rd. #FM24

Season 2 of this Mallorca save draws to a close. It's a shame we missed out on European football but regardless this was a very positive season. I'm locked and loaded for the summer transfer window. All we really need is improvement to our depth.
