Israel's air defense systems intercepted more than 300 Iranian drones and missiles Saturday night, with the help of key allies – including the U.S. Former Israeli ambassador to the U.S. Alon Pinkas says Israel is still weighing its response, @Debora_Patta reports.
@FaceTheNation @Debora_Patta We condemn Iran for attacking Israel, but everyone expected them to respond to the Israeli airstrikes earlier this month. Since this attack on Israel did very little damage, we discourage Netanyahu from escalating for political reasons. Israel can afford to take the high road.
@FaceTheNation @CBSNews @Debora_Patta Testing Israel is like testing God you don't pootycake with either one.
@FaceTheNation @Debora_Patta Does everybody understand that Netanyahu wants Middle East tensions to escalate? Authoritarian demagogues use conflict to motivate their cults. Netanyahu has stirred that pot for years, and he needs continued war to avoid an election loss and accountability for his past crimes.
@FaceTheNation @CBSNews @Debora_Patta How did Alon Pinkas help intercept drones and missiles..!?!
@FaceTheNation @Debora_Patta Keep the propaganda coming
