Ideally I'd like us to push higher first to short.. Otherwise gonna have to be very patient because lots of gaps below and longs from the first taps gonna be riskier.

Would be ideal if we just keep running straight to 7002.50 level on ES and get a good reaction to short.

@TradeZella This is very similar to how I trade but the best setups don’t actually retest at all.

@traderkane Yeah why would you look for a short after 300 points straight up move? :)

Re-Entered after: ES sweeping the low once more with SMT with NQ Perfect reaction. +1.7r due to taking a partial. The original stoploss would have held in the previous trade but I'm happy stopping breakeven there.

@Wordsofrizdom I think it's just expectation management. When people get better at trading technically, they expect to get better at mental game as well but it doesn't work that way. Logic and technical understanding can't override emotional response.

I wanted 11 am candle to sweep this once again before entering long but that didn't happen so I didn't take the long from that level. My previous trade (posted earlier) would have won If i held but stopping breakeven was the right decision imo. Happy with that. BE on the day
