@servatorsasha [He smiles.] Adequate.

@servatorsasha [He smiles, pleased.] Yes. It is quite handy. Of course should a faerie touch you the illusion will be lost, and powerful fae have other methods of perceiving rather than merely sight, but yes. I do hope that helps.

@servatorsasha [He stands there quietly, rocking on his heels as he stares out into the woods. That same genuinely pleased smile is on his face as he waits for his friend to return. He doesn't see her or the knife After a moment, he realizes she must be there and starts to look around.] Sasha?

@servatorsasha [Johlyn laughs lightly.] So long as the faerie doesn't see you put it on, yes. You'd be surprised the number of times father's put his on incorrectly and I didn't notice his presence.

@servatorsasha [He shrugs.] I would prefer Doe in public, just in case. A fae stealing your name could mimic you but one with mine becomes me. You may call me Johlyn, however. I have no choice anymore but to call you Sasha.

@servatorsasha [Johlyn laughs weakly, letting himself relax.] It would hardly be the first time. Besides I have been without friends for 19 years. I can cope with losing another if it means keeping them alive. Johlyn, by the way. That's my name. You can know it, since I have yours.

@servatorsasha [He stares at the hand for a moment, hesitant, then takes it.] I don't mind. About the ward, that is. You are being pursued by a changeling. You need defense. Daisy's shall work as well, should you wish to wear a chain. An inside-out jacket would keep it from noticing you too.

@servatorsasha [He looks at her, eyes momentarily flickering to her bag where he knows she must carry a ward of some sort.] I hadn't meant to trick you. I promise I--I don't meet many humans beside my father, and those I do can normally tell. I had presumed with you I could be normal.

@servatorsasha [The tension in him doesn't lessen. He stays vigilant, watching her hands.] Yes, it is likely. They--we--don't tend to replace adults however. Typically infants which means this is not only an abnormal fae but a powerful one; one with a personal vendetta against you.

@servatorsasha Nothing! Well--something. A malevolent fae would have power over you and the ability to take your place but I--I would never! I have my father's as well and I have never harmed him. [He scoots back somewhat on the table, hands shaking.]
