Cutting grass again mostly third. Corn is growing fast with this hot weather. The rain the other day was really needed.

Spreading the fields with manure now to encourage regrowth so the second cutting can be cut in a few weeks.

Cold again and snowing now. Thank you to all the dedicated employees for keeping the farm going. Wood furnace sure helps. Milk trucker keeps the tankers on the road to take the milk to the processing plant. Spring will be sometime.

We are saddened to learn of the death of Dennis Pedersen who was our crops manager for many years. A dedicated employee who always was right there to do the best for our farm.
