@carinaloops_ Yeah Victim mentality is self sabotage 👌🏿

For years, I didn't know how to stand up for myself. Every bully I met seemed to know it and I paid the price for it. Not to play the victim here but growing up, I was bullied almost every single day. I was called names, ridiculed, and often left out. I dreaded going to school

What are your own experience of beauty for ashes? Do well to share it in the comment section, Your experience might inspire someone.

You may not have chosen what happened to you, but you can choose what it produces in you. Your pain can make you bitter. Or it can make you better. For me, God turned my wounds into wisdom, my rejection into resilience, and my ashes into beauty.

And if He did it for me I believe He can do it for you too. You don't have to carry your pain alone, allow God to walk and mould you through it.

He never left me alone. So why am I sharing all this? Because I've come to the believe that there is beauty hidden in pain So if you're walking through a painful season, hear me... Don't waste your pain.

Above all, I became closer to God because when ever I was bullied and rejected, It was God whom I cried and talk to about the experiences I felt. My family hardly knew what I was going through because I did everything I could to hide it. But God saw every tear, heard every prayer

Her wisdom shaped me in ways I didn't appreciate until I became older. My struggles also pushed me to understand people better. They taught me empathy, emotional intelligence, and the importance of extending grace because I know what it feels like to desperately need it

As much as I don't wish my bullying experience on anyone, but as strange as it may sound, I gained far more than I lost. Because I spent so much time at home (as a result of being often left out)I developed an incredibly close relationship with my mum.

Little by little, I began replacing fear with wisdom and bitterness with grace. Today, I may not be the most confident person you'll ever meet, but one thing I know is this: you cannot intimidate me or make me feel small the way you once could.

I stopped wallowing in the "why always me" theory and began to seek healing I choose growth over self pity. I started reading books, listening to wise people, becoming more self-aware, and intentionally learning how to build healthy relationships.

For a long time, I thought I was protecting my peace. Looking back now, I realize I was just protecting my pain. As I began to notice the repeated patterns of failed relationships, it changed everything for me.

I over thought very thing, so the slightest misunderstanding can make me become defensive or withdraw completely. More times than I'd like to admit, I've ended friendships that could have been saved because I allowed past wounds to shape my present decisions.

Just because the bullying stopped, that doesn't mean the wounds disappeared. I became guarded, Reserved and overly sensitive when it comes to the people I allow into my space. As a result I'm often tagged as "a snub", "proud", and "arrogant"

Ironically, as I've gotten older, life has looked very different. For reasons I still can't explain, people now gravitate towards me. Genuine people want to know me and build friendships with me. But here's what many people don't realize...

what did I do to address the bullying? I shy away from it, I joined my bullies to laugh at my self, I go home and cry my eyes out only to return the next day and repeat the same circle. Now those years of bullying slowly left me timid, insecure, and afraid to stand up for myself.

because it was where I felt the most unwanted. I struggled to make friends, and when I finally made friends, I held on so tightly that I tolerated being taken advantage of because I was afraid of losing them. Omo I've been embarrassed and "seen finish" in this life ooo🥲

For the sake of memories 💞✨
