@SamLoonie @TaylorVaisey @familywhistle @Diefenbunker Don't ask what the modular wall panels are made of and never mind what the pipe insulation lagging contains either.

@Diefenbunker @skepticalstevie @atcoolguydotcom @AmandaLeeAP The current NT phone system is not left over from the Bunker's operational period. The 701 step switch is also not from the operational period. Both systems were donated and installed by museum volunteers in the late 90s and 2ks.

@Diefenbunker Kennedy wanted Diefenbaker to raise Canada's threat level to Defcon3 (otherwise known as Round House [RH] at NORAD North Bay). Diefenbaker refused, but eventually the threat level was raised.

@Diefenbunker There are a few notable items in the valley: The hydro sub station The power and comms vaults The underground garage But definitely the highlight would be the sewage holding tank / pumping station and associated septic system tile bed.

@Diefenbunker There was one above ground tank and four underground diesel tanks on the north side of the parking lot and one on the 100 level. And for extra points: there was a gasoline filling station (operated by Canex) located in the parking area South of the guardhouse.
