Thanks to the Enterprise Holdings Foundation for donating $2,500 to The Faustin Project. Its support will help alleviate the educational deficit in Mare-Rouge, Haiti and improve the quality of life of children and families.

As a grassroots organization, we see firsthand & understand the needs of the people in our community. We make it our mission to help solve the problems & help create a better future for vulnerable children and families in our community.

For most children here, school can be a refuge. While school mainly focuses on academics, our center provides children tutoring, a safe, fun & nurturing environment to grow. Ruthnise is learning how to be a seamstress and she is excited to show her skills!

Employment, empowerment, purpose. More than 75% of Haitians living in Mare-Rouge lives in abject poverty and are unemployed. Due to the lack of jobs available in developing countries like Haiti & specially in rural areas like Mare-Rouge, micro-enterprises IS life.
