I was stunned when dozens of men on this app voluntarily said they wouldn't date a woman THEY liked because their guy friends didn't find her attractive. Stunned.

@Felonious_munk A friend admitted to torpedoing a relationship *he* said was great for this exact reason Bonus…he later found out all those men were jealous of him for various reasons
@Felonious_munk As someone who has dated men who demonstrated they genuinely liked me but were conflicted about the aesthetic of us together not matching their peer reviewed vision of whats expected, I am not surprised... not one bit.
@Felonious_munk Because a lot of men see women as objects so it makes sense they would be thinking of a potential spouse as a status symbol based on what their peers think. It’s the same way they see a car or a pair of shoes
@Felonious_munk Does anyone remember that story on Tik tok of this guy saying his friends and uncles would fill his head with like bullshit about his wife and he eventually divorced her and they told him that they all hit her up afterwards and only did it bc they were jealous
@Felonious_munk Both genders do and don’t do this tho. A lot of People in general are just followers
@Felonious_munk Unfortunately, some men prioritize unquestioningly following the “bro code” over developing their own independent thinking. Ultimately, they will be held accountable for their own life choices, not their friends, and the more men recognize this now, the better off society wll be.
