Unfulfilled promises, lies, and bad decisions led to it collapsing despite the users absolutely loving the concept. It needs exposure from a trustworthy source. #footballindex

@gregfoot I have really enjoyed the investigates pod. Having been a Football Index user, I would really like this looked into properly. Outsiders think it was bad betting but there are some seriously intelligent people that have lost vast sums of money.

In the unlikely event that FI could restart from the CVA, is there a way it could be sustainable through commission or other sources such as ads on the site? I can’t see anyone depositing anything, so they wouldn’t bring in any money. #footballindex

Only just seen the announcement. @FiGuide are you going to do a podcast to break this down at all? It would be really helpful.

@daveywyatt Restructure. I haven’t really watched football since it went into administration.

If #footballindex got their license back what would you do with your dividends?

@footballindexi I would love FI to continue, but I think there are so many people that would want their money out it will be a constant battle to grow again

@Fin_Dex I completely agree. I loved the platform, but I feel like most will pull money out and it will be difficult to attract new money. Would be good to know the truth and not lies about expansion.

Wasn’t interested in any football at the weekend. Please someone save the index. Incredible platform, great community, just poorly run. #footballindex

If FI had kept a low IS, had multiple bids, and you could offer at the same time as bid, do you think it would still have failed? #footballindex

Sad seeing what has happened to FI. IS was a huge liability for them before OBs, but at the same time they could have earned a load from it. Shame it just can’t go back to how it once was. #footballindex

Haaland sitting in 5th place. He’s up there with some world class players. #footballindex

@Sagalout31 I know what you mean. New management, expansion overseas, market makers, multiple bids and we might have a chance of getting some back. Not much to ask is it

What’s everyone’s biggest percentage loss on a player. I’m currently 92% down on Aouchiche #footballindex

Surely FI can’t just ignore what has happened. There must be detailed comms at some point to try and soften the blow? Or are they just not interested in this user base anymore? #footballindex

Can we go back to the decent prices and the ‘fake dividend’ increase? As pretty downhill from there. #footballindex

@Mckemp86 @FiWingding I understand they have reduced divs because of this but the way they have done it and the decisions over the last 6 months have been terrible

@Mckemp86 @FiWingding Yep, but what I mean is they still probably have a good bank balance. This is what they are hiding behind in saying they are in a strong financial position. Sancho has won 2 star mans recently so they would have paid out over half a mill on him alone.
