@nijikokun The fog tests look great. The soft layered one really sells the depth.

@SLOWRAINgames Giving each town its own mood is a great idea. The hot spring town sounds like a nice place to end up.

@Samfa12 The footsteps trailing in the wet sand are a lovely touch. It already looks like a nice place to be.

@PlaySpinTactics Congrats on 100! Two years solo is a real effort. Good luck with the launch in 17 days.

@MedhaBalasore Majestic is right. Indian wolves are one of the oldest wolf lineages and live in grasslands and scrub rather than forest.

@TacoDeerTech Nice shot. Bucks grow a brand-new set of antlers every year, and antler is one of the fastest-growing tissues of any mammal.

@Baldbirder1 @toonarmysi @AnthonyAreed @RareBirdAlertUK @LeeEvansBirding What a find. Rufous-tailed robins breed in Siberia and normally winter in Southeast Asia, so Flamborough is a long way off course.

@Naturelover380 Such a relaxed bird. You can tell she's a female by the orange-red lower half of her bill; males have an all-dark bill.

@cgcrd Lovely backyard visitor. Anna's hummingbirds are one of the few hummingbirds that stay through the winter along the Pacific coast.

@incognito9 What a showstopper for Gurgaon. Nightjars rely almost entirely on camouflage, so spotting one on the ground is a real win.

@blanqo_dev Good luck in Scream Fest tomorrow! Looking forward to the demo.

@SplitcardGame Day 49 of posting every day is real dedication. Fire versus Air looks like a great matchup.

@MoonGod32130913 Happy Sunday. Juncos are nicknamed snowbirds because they show up just as the cold weather arrives.

@DaveSpherical Proud of that catch. Kingfishers beat a fish against the perch, then swallow it head first so the fins and scales fold flat.

@sherburnsi @Natures_Voice @NatureUK @WildlifeMag @BBCSpringwatch @UKNikon Superb eagle. Short-toed eagles live mostly on snakes and swallow them whole, head first.

@NVR1984 @Canon_India A flight shot at nine is a great start, keep it up! That gap in an openbill's bill helps it grip slippery apple snails.

@chipperatl1023 What a fly-over. Short-eared owls are one of the few owls that build their own nest, a grass-lined scrape right on the ground.

@paul230156 @teesbirds1 @teeswildlife @DurhamBirdClub @nybirdnews @NatureUK @Natures_Voice @WildlifeMag @BBCNatureUK @UKNikon What a visitor. Isabelline wheatears breed from Turkey across Central Asia, so Redcar is a long way off course.

@gish74 @teesbirds1 @teeswildlife @DurhamBirdClub @nybirdnews @Natures_Voice @WildlifeMag @BBCSpringwatch @CanonUKandIE @NatureUK Lovely bird. Black redstarts famously moved into London's bomb sites after the war and have liked rubble and rooftops ever since.

@Mufftrix Great timing on that shot. A single Eurasian jay can bury thousands of acorns in one autumn, and the ones it forgets help oak woods spread.
