It’s drive-thru #Graduation2020 day for the seniors at #RanchoCucamonga High. Students were able to walk across the stage to receive their diploma while parents watched & cheered from a safe distance. 1 family at a time. Great work by faculty & staff @RanchoHSCougars #NBCLA

Hey @Verizon, thank you for recognizing teachers as “Those Who Serve”! I’m just wondering why the discount wasn’t extended to all education employees such as data managers, financial secretaries, etc. Our data manager serves our students as much as our teachers!

Today my husband, @Amber_Longhi, and 7 students participated in Polar Plunge for Special Olympics! I love the passion to help others, even if it is a bit cold!!! #GECRocks

Yesterday’s WU was a simple I notice/I wonder to start Expo/Log unit. Great connections made simply in the warm up. We talked history of logs (Ss were shocked to hear they came about in the 1600s). Several Ss said this was the best lesson yet!! Usually Ss dislike logs!

I'm absolutely LOVING the way I do warm-ups and closings inspired by @sl_fink! I've always done warm-ups via Google Class ?s but incorporating closing ?s, and incorporating a "rating" of the lesson has been great to see! Ss are asking ?s they probably wouldn't otherwise!

First day of the new semester was great! I’m very happy with the reorganization of my room. I have space to move around and it feels like a fresh start. I encourage all teachers to change up/clean up their rooms before a new semester!

Today my Ss took a mock ACT English test. The state benchmark is 17, ACT’s is 18. The lowest my Ss scored was a 20! Everyone was above the mark and everyone grew from their Pre-ACT!
