@__paleologo Optimized, arms-raced, and distorted their pipeline into something alien. If someone has a stats PhD with code, publications, and profitable live strategies, why is so much of the process focused on university name, quick reactions and memorization of brain teasers?

@__paleologo "the quality of the graduates has been going down dramatically in the past 20 years." I would say that most buy-side firms have completely lost the plot in regards to how they're screening applicants. Garbage in garbage out.

@TradersMastery A new altcoin each cycle, reaches top 10 market cap, highly controversial. Achieves great returns next cycle. Eth, Ada, were the previous ones. I think Sol could be last cycle's.

@TradersMastery If deflation comes to the US in the near term, it probably won't be due to the same reason, and will require its own analysis.

@TradersMastery I think this wave of deflation may be due to domestic oversupply following weak exports. Not much expectations exports picking up in the current narrative, so money may be flowing out of HSE pricing in lower China growth expectations.
