Its painful and exhausting to watch a family member or loved one reject themselves for an ideology based on feelings. I wish I hadn't been told not to listen to others when I identified as trans and that I could have heard the truth. Trans relies on echo chambers.

FULL METAL FRIDAYS — TIME FOR A CHANGE. For a while now, I've been releasing a brand-new Full Metal Patriot track every Friday. It's been a hell of a ride, and I've genuinely enjoyed bringing you guys new music every single week. But I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. Somewhere along the way, releasing music became a race. More songs, more releases, more content. Every Friday, another track. Keep feeding the machine. Keep chasing the algorithm. And frankly, I'm tired of playing that game. I've never wanted Full Metal Patriot to be about quantity over quality. I want every song to mean something. I want to spend time developing the music, the stories, and especially the cinematic videos that bring those stories to life. There's also another issue worth mentioning. YouTube royalties distributed through DistroKid have been delayed, with July and August payments still outstanding. I'm far from the only artist dealing with this, and it's frustrating to put so much work into something and then have to wonder when you're actually going to get paid, or if you are ever going to get paid. That situation has made me reconsider the entire cycle of constantly releasing new music. So here's what's changing. Going forward, my goal is to release one new Full Metal Patriot song every month, giving each track the attention it deserves. - Say in addition, I want to plan to make a video for each new song. At the same time, I'm shifting more of my creative energy into the music videos, with a goal of producing at least two cinematic videos every month. That means more storytelling, more ambitious visuals, more time spent on the details, and hopefully some of the best work I've ever created. I'm not interested in becoming a music factory. I'm interested in creating something worth watching, listening to, and remembering. Full Metal Fridays have been a blast, but it's time to take Full Metal Patriot to the next level. Less chasing the algorithm. More creating what I actually believe in. Thanks to everyone who's been along for the ride. There's a lot more coming. Stay loud. Stay unbroken. FMP

Regret over transition is a lot more common than you think. What's rare and brave is admitting it and detransitioning. Many who regret it will say nothing, continuing with the harm.

I’m able to speak up against institutional child abuse today because people cared enough to step in and help me through the biggest crisis of my life. When we see the gifts in people who are lost and suffering, we enable them to move on and to do amazing things in the future.

But it couldn’t be social contagion, folks. It’s just that young people, especially autistic, gay and mentally ill ones, are finally free to be their authentic selves. The sudden explosion of young women who want to cut off their healthy breasts and take testosterone? Well, it’s absolutely not the newest form of self-harm, to which troubled adolescent girls are provably prone, ok? It’s not a consequence of the commonplace fear of becoming an adult woman, with all that that entails. No, there’s nothing to worry about there. The possibility of regret? Naturally, we don’t let minors get tattoos or own guns or vote, because that would be ridiculous, but if they want irreversible surgeries and drug treatments, they must be given them, and everyone around them must immediately agree they are now the opposite sex. That’s called being kind. And the mounting numbers of detransitioners? They were never trans, obviously, and should be mercilessly attacked, especially if they now say they were vulnerable and in a friendship group, online or off, dominated by trans identities, where transitioning was presented as a way to resolve all their social and emotional difficulties. (I have the emails). No, there’s nothing whatsoever to see here. Keep justifying it, keep cheering it on, keep insisting that the doctors and drug companies making serious money out of it all are acting with the purest of motives. Answer every reasonable question with an accusation of hatred and bigotry. Dispel every qualm of conscience with an activist-approved talking point. Reassure yourself that everyone on your dinner party circuit agrees with you. And when, in years to come, we’re all looking back on graphs like this, be proud that you did your bit to monster whistleblowers, parrot unevidenced claims and create the climate of fear that allowed the worst medical scandal in a century to take place.
