How many people do you think will share this $1M bonus bet from DK for the King of the Diamond promo? Currently, you would have needed to include Raleigh or Rodriguez from the Mariners to win.

Despite all the wave talk at Valspar, both waves had 39 players make the cut. AM/PM cut-makers did gain 0.38 strokes over the PM/AM cut-makers, but they also had combined ownership in the flagship of 272% (vs. 150% for the PM/AM guys). Doubt that extra ownership was worth it.

Dear @DraftKings, the rake we pay as players only makes sense if you are actually taking some risk. Posting flagship contests that consistently fill hours before lock is unacceptable. DFS is dying because your contests are a fraction of the size they should be.

Anyone remember when @DraftKings sized contests such that they didn't fill hours before lock? Hard to understand why the rake is so high when they take very little risk that the contests might not fill.

Why is ⁦@DraftKings⁩ so risk averse when it comes to sizing contests nowadays? Nearly 15 hours to go and the main contests are almost filled!

Food for thought: 21 people entered 50 or more lineups in the $555 Milly Maker yesterday. Not one made a profit and, in total, they lost $590K on $1.1M in entry fees. #ouch

Thumb in the air state of DFS golf by looking at this week's contests vs. last year. LY, the flagship contest was $1.2MM w/ $25 buy-in & $250K to 1st. This year, it is $800K w/ $200K to 1st. On the other hand, LY's $4,444 buy-in Milly Maker had 505 slots - this year it has 567.
