The British have historically had generations of nobility die on the front lines in disproportionate numbers. British Officers were about 50% more likely to die than the men they lead across both world wars.

@seanmcdonald01 One school is not a standard, you moron. The CCF trains Officers and though a third of CCF branches are in private schools, over half of all serving officers are privately educated. This is so well known that there are long standing criticisms of them being over-represented.
