Pray for discernment. Stick to the Word for now and not people’s opinions online. We are imperfect. Get to know God's character, start with John, because Jesus shows us the Father. Then read Luke and 1 John. Go slow, take small sections and meditate on everything. And while you’re doing that, look for a good church that sends you back to Scripture. James 1:5 - Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.

@HippiChicWarrio @TheJewAbides These are not followers of Jesus. Your words are true, but the soil is shallow. Pray for them, shake the dust from your feet and may God bless you.

Fake Jews? Israel is defined by covenant, not bloodline purity as shown in Jesus’s own genealogy. Deuteronomy bars Moabites from the assembly to the 10th generation, and yet Ruth is David's great-grandmother. Rehoboam's mother, Naamah, was an Ammonite, so an Ammonite sits in the royal line, too. As for Edom, Deuteronomy 23:7 says do not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother. And since we are grafted into this covenant, we should be grateful for all of this, because if God was as particular about purity as you are portraying him to be, we would have no assurance.

Someone didn’t read the rest of Zechariah, or they would know it describes a future siege, divine intervention against the attacking nations, an outpouring of a spirit of grace, and the people looking on the one they have pierced and mourning for him. A fountain for cleansing and the establishment of the Lord’s reign follows.

@EternityEagle @Elohim_Gadol Graham publicly apologized in 2002 after the Nixon tapes’ release, repudiating the remarks as not reflecting his views and affirming his support for Jewish people and Israel.

Because context matters. From Grok: The forced-choice question had two options: 1. Protect current retirees’ Social Security benefits, even if that means higher taxes on younger workers. 2. Protect younger workers from higher taxes, even if that means reducing benefits for current retirees. Among people 65 and older, 89% picked the first option and 11% the second. Under 30, it was roughly split: 47% chose protecting current benefits and 53% chose protecting younger workers from higher taxes.

@Mark_Wilson_25 Amen, Mark! When I find a thread and see the way it’s been woven through scripture, I feel a profound sense of unworthiness and also awe. It is His signature. And it is a blessing when you recognize it.

@DefiyantlyFree Agreed, the standard is incredibly high for husbands, but women are held to a high standard too, not only Proverbs 31, but ezer, the same word God uses of Himself as a helper.

Amen. The only thing I would add is that if you’re not yet married, make sure you’re not being unequally yoked when you choose a spouse. If you are married to an unbeliever, this is still the correct posture. And if your walk is one of singleness, this should apply to your relationship with the Lord.
