“This Mach II was intended to be a sports car & test bed for new engineering techniques. Using a Ford Mustang® chassis, only two were built in 1966.” — Leslie Armbruster, Archives Manager Discover more at fordheritagevault.com Disclaimer: Archival footage shown. Claims based on historical data.
@Ford can i humbly request Ford Blue Cruise on a new Bronco?
@Ford Is Ford going to ever make another car, besides a Mustang? A car, car. I’m not talking about a grandma suv or crossover, I mean a car.
@Ford I doubt it was ever intended for production. Unless Henry no. 2 could sell 200,000, he was likely uninterested. And the Mustang people didn't want something to eat into their sales for the same reason the Corvette people howled against any Pontiac sports car.
@Ford Two built, but endless inspiration! The Mach II is a rare gem in automotive innovation.
