Call from neighbour of an elderly couple who suspected they had bogus workmen at their home. Attended call jointly with @AngusCouncil trading standards and thankfully all was in order. Glad to put their mind at rest and good to see people looking out for elderly neighbours.

We've been made aware of a fake online fundraising campaign on GoGetFunding.com set up in the name of our colleague PC Roy Buggins who died this week. It was not set up by his family or by anyone connected with him. Now been taken down, but please be aware if it reappears.

A neighbour of an an elderly lady came into the office on her behalf to seek advice about constant unwanted and scam phone calls. We will make a referral to @AngusCouncil trading standards who will supply and install a free call blocking device to help her feel a bit safer.

Big difference from last night in West High Street. Been out speaking to a number of business owners who are continuing the clear up. All keen working hard to get up and running again as soon as possible.
