My new favorite player is @ColtonPhares Recruited as a safety, moves up into the box last year out of necessity. Puts on more weight to stay in the box this year. Smart. Hard nosed. Just plays ball. Flies to the ball. Lets his team know when they did good and bad. Leader!

Based on what I am seeing on social media, I think the main problem with the previous staff is they weren't able to change the attitudes of recruits to no longer be me first.. its about the team.. It started with Drink and Clark never fixed it. Thought the brand was enough.

I could have sworn Doug said they had specialists in to fix the audio.. It was worse than it's ever been... I'm not one to complain about in stadium stuff, but the audio was BAAAAD today..

My thoughts 2 weeks into the season.. UNCC is terrible.. Lindenwood is amazingly coached. We have a lot of weaknesses. On both sides. Defense is doing just fine. They are exposing the opponents weakness. Offense still has just 2 plays. Lindenwood saw the same thing.

I'm not a Clark lover... But we have over 70 new players and are struggling against Lindenwood... Majority of our fan base never heard of that school until they were on our schedule.. Perhaps it starts at the top... Just sayin'...

If JMU stays with Barnett, it's an easy 2 score win... Is he not 100%? The QB flip flopping with such different skill sets is crazy. Once Sluka was in, their offense was one dimensional. They jammed the outside and outmatched the box.

Feel bad for Ryan. But not surprising at all unfortunately. @CoachChadwell ruined McCall's career by making him play through head injuries. Chodewell is just a scumbag and nobody in the industry likes him.

The fact UNC at UNCC still isnt a sell out is the epitome of NC college football. Both schools think they deserve more respect -- for various reasons. Neither realize without an App, ECU, or State (as much as I hate to admit it), neither of your stadiums will ever sell out.

One thing I noticed tonight that I never saw the previous 5 years... After every posession, the O line coach was drawing stuff up on the board. Normal. But the entire O Line was giving input. And coach was allowing it. And when they were playing bad, HC let them know it!
