@FounderBattle makes distribution part of the game :) 5 days since opening: 63 founders. 67 products already inside. 86 battles. 640 votes. And the biggest difference? It’s not another leaderboard where you pay to be seen, list your SaaS, then disappear into pages nobody visits. You list. You battle. You win or lose. You judge. You share. You get challenged. And through every stage, your product keeps showing up. Even if you don’t start a battle yourself, someone else can find you, challenge you, and try to climb past you. The whole system is designed around activity creating distribution. Not “submit once and hope someone visits.”

This is a bit long, but worth reading, especially if you've joined @FounderBattle. A few people raised a very valid concern: "What’s stopping Founder Battle from becoming another dead SaaS leaderboard? We submit, get listed… and then nobody ever comes back." And honestly? Part of that concern is fair. I can’t promise Founder Battle will become a successful leaderboard. I can build the mechanics, put in the work and try my best, but I can’t manufacture a community. What I can do is build it differently. You don’t climb by submitting once and disappearing. You climb by battling. When your product enters a battle, you suddenly have something to talk about. I’m under attack. We’re in a battle. Come support us. You have content to share with your audience, a reason to bring them into the Arena, and another chance for your product to be seen. Some people will support you. Some will notice your product for the first time. Some might become jurors and start judging other battles. Some might discover another SaaS they like. Some might even submit their own product, enter a battle later, and bring their audience with them. That’s the loop I’m trying to create: Battle > Share > Get Seen > Discover > Judge > Join > Battle again And importantly, bringing a bigger audience doesn’t simply buy you the win. The competitive result still comes from independent Arena Votes. Will it work? I genuinely don’t know yet. But the philosophy is very different from "submit your SaaS and hope someone finds row #1847 six months later." The goal is to give founders a reason to participate, create, share, discover each other and keep coming back.

A few people reached out and asked how @FounderBattle opening actually works, so I wanted to explain it a bit here too, even though the rules page covers everything. It will be fun 🚀 I was damn tired of thinking/trying to figure out how to make this game fair - especially the opening battles, how to give everyone a real chance in the arena, whether they have 100 followers or 100k, and still make sure the whole thing doesn’t fall apart when we’re small. So once we hit 32 products, we don’t just throw 16 battles live and hope for the best 😅 The founding roster locks, we take a short prep period, confirm enough founders and community judges are actually there, and then we start properly. There’ll be 16 opening battles, but only 4 live at a time so the votes aren’t spread too thin. Each battle needs real Arena Votes to count. No fake activity. No forced winners. No paying your way to the top. If there aren’t enough votes, we wait or call it No Contest. Once all 16 battles are done, the normal Arena opens and everyone can start challenging, climbing and fighting for their place. I probably overthought this way too much 😂 But if we’re building a game around fairness, I wanted the foundation to actually be fair. ⚔️

Founder spotlight ⚔️ Colleator has joined the Opening Battle on @FounderBattle I spent some time checking out Colleator, built by Jana (@bratdotai). It’s a marketplace for businesses to find and work with verified X creators. You can compare audiences, engagement, performance, offers and pricing. What I like is that it goes well beyond creator discovery. Campaign details, payments, messages and delivery stay in one workspace. Creators submit the live post as proof before a collaboration is completed. Buyers get a clearer way to approve the work and follow its results. Creators control their offers, pricing and which collaborations they accept. That removes a lot of awkward DMs, spreadsheets and trust-me screenshots. It feels like a proper operating layer for paid collaborations on X. colleator.com

Founder spotlight ⚔️ The Wall is now on @FounderBattle @TheLongDagger and I had a quick chat, so I took a proper look at his product, The Wall :) It’s an anonymous space where anyone can leave a short thought without an account. You get 280 characters, choose a category and drop your “brick.” The public wall mixes jokes, confessions, hot takes and full-on rants. You can browse fresh or trending posts, react, comment or report. So it’s anonymous, but it doesn’t feel like yelling into an empty internet void. The bit I really rate is “Borrow a Wall.” You can make a private wall for your group with an invite link, code and expiry. That could be gold for honest team, classroom, event or community feedback. No awkward survey. No names attached. Just say the thing and move on. It’s simple, a little chaotic, and more useful than it first looks. thewall.chat
