چهل و شش سال از درگذشت پدرم می‌گذرد، اما او امروز زنده‌ترین چهره سیاسی در پیشگاه تاریخ و دل ایرانیان است. شعله عشق ملت ایران به او روز به روز بلندتر و فروزان‌تر می‌شود. همان‌طور که جاویدنام مجیدرضا رهنورد به نیابت از میلیون‌ها جوان ایرانی نوشت: «نسلی عاشقت شد، که تو را هرگز ندید». پدرم با تمام وجود، عاشقِ ایران بود. قلب او با طبیعت این خاک می‌تپید و باریدن باران بر دشت‌های ایران، برایش بهترین و زیباترین خبر بود. او در ۲۲ سالگی، کشور را در شرایط دشوار اشغال متفقین تحویل گرفت و با تکیه بر میهن‌پرستی، ایران را به سوی دروازه‌های تمدن بزرگ هدایت کرد. اگر فاجعه ۵۷، مسیر تاریخ ما را منحرف نمی‌کرد، ایران امروز یکی از درخشان‌ترین قطب‌های رفاه و توسعه در جهان بود. هم‌میهنانم، اگر به راه او باور داریم، مسئولیت بزرگی بر دوش ماست. برای وفاداری به نگاه او، ما باید ایران را از این فرقه تبهکار پس بگیریم و آن را دوباره بسازیم. پاینده ایران
