“We’re planning another brief scheduled downtime for some database maintenance this Sunday at 0700 UTC - it will be a maximum of 1 hour that the site will be in maintenance mode, but hopefully much quicker than that. “

Hi folks! Just to let you know we need to restart the database master server at 6am UTC (that's about 10 hours from now - site will show a "maintenance mode" message while it's happening. Will take less than 40 mins but hopefully faster. Sorry for the short notice!

We had a bit of an issue with email for the last couple days that is now fixed. Some post and digest emails were lost, other types delayed. As ever, the most reliable and prompt way to look for new posts or messages is on the site! 🙂

Hi all! We need a short maintenance window on Sunday 17th from 8am to 9am UTC for a quick reboot of some systems. Should be shorter than that but just letting you know. Site will show "site down for maintenance" during that time. Thank you for keeping stuff out of landfill!

Hi everyone, we're aware of a major outage at Facebook, also affecting Instagram and Whatsapp. This means you may not be able to log in to us using FB credentials. It looks like they've sorted it now, but may be a while until it all flows through.
