Asheesh (@ashgoblue) is absolutely correct. Methods for distribution key, and also predicated on underlying REAL users, REAL use cases, REAL problems. @Ripple! Conversely, if proliferation simply can’t be engineered, perhaps something wrong with the underlying!

JPM Coin may well be internal test to understand coins like #XRP $XRP. Inevitably, JPM will run into hurdles & reg. scrutiny that @Ripple team is foremost expert on. 3 outcomes: a) banks prove they can go without XRP b) banks adopt XRP c) banks see #crypto settlement as fraud.

I think most smart people know that reading widely-read books from your profession (e.g. business, tech) is useless. But people get stuck reading obscure, dense books in their industry instead. Reading basic books from other professions (e.g. architecture, science) is underrated.

For #xrapid / #xrp, what is the primary regulatory hurdle at this point? I suspect it has to do with cross-border payments via exchanges (and regulatory regime on both sides of the transfer)? Likely totally wrong here. @Hodor @BankXRP @Ripple

BWG grew through a downturn for the same reasons Bitcoin will survive: 1. Provide transparency in an ecosystem of hype and fraud 2. Fight manipulation (No pay-to-play pitches) 3. Boarderless reach (OTC downloaded in 160+ countries) Stick to the fundamentals and the value comes.

While #bitcoin is extremely reflexive, it is also highly resilient. Pundits needs to think more about endpoints and less about local volatility. That leads to more productive thinking and questions (e.g. will another currency replace Bitcoin? vs. will there be digi currency).
