Question for the heating people or design people.. Low heatloss loads - sub 3kw. What are your thoughts on volumiser, direct or buffer? I can’t decide what to do 😂 And going around in circles, maybe I just need to trial and error it like other things.
@Damon_BPHR As it’s you, I assume this is decent kit where you can cap the inverter Hz, so I would do that and add 100L of volume & put your flow sensor in there mate👍
@swebster56 @Damon_BPHR Cap the invertor? Can we do that? Effectively range rating a heat pump. Thats genius Mr Webster. You could probably do something similar by limiting the max circ pump % as well.
@GSHPinstaller @swebster56 Yes Nibe allow this on the compressor curve, the only issue is hot water would also be affected
@Damon_BPHR @GSHPinstaller You can always set lux hot water if the re charge time is a problem. The sensor in the mass on return will hold compressor off (rising temp from ufloor) to give you decent run times mate.
@swebster56 @GSHPinstaller Yeah that’s what I’m thinking there with the sensor and secondary pump. What’s lux hot water mate?
@Damon_BPHR @GSHPinstaller Barry @GSHPinstaller has good point, setting the pump gives you some tuning to play with. It’s yet another issue we are getting faced with 🤦♂️
@swebster56 @Damon_BPHR Are you seeing some issues with min pump speeds on the Nibe? Ive seen it a couple of times where pump ramps down and get stuck. Circulating round a short circuit then the compressor matches it.
@GSHPinstaller @swebster56 I’ve not but haven’t looked for it tbh. Just knock your min pump speed up.
@Damon_BPHR @swebster56 That what we had to do, just an anomaly of fully open systems to mindful of
