⚜️🗳️👏🇨🇦 : Mark Carney congratulates Paul St-Pierre Plamondon & the separatist Parti Québécois on their victory in the Quebec election last night. Albertans who collected the legally required number of signatures to have a referendum on Alberta separation, have been called traitors to Canada. The Alberta referendum on Oct, 19th will be non binding. Unlike all the previous Quebec separation referendums. If there ever was proof of how abusive Canada is to Alberta & how much of a double standard there is for Quebec, this is it.
Always remember the Canadian dynamic. When Quebec pursues sovereignty, they are asserting provincial rights and are to be respected. When Alberta pursues sovereignty, they are selfish assholes.

I have known you since 1997, Jason. Once upon a time, you did a good job. You stood up for your constituents, you build bridges and did a decent job in the Harper government. Then you moved to Alberta and something changed. You became a tyrant. You shut the economy down for two years over an illness that 99.7% of people survived perfectly fine - and you knew this less than 2 months into it. But you couldn’t admit you were wrong, and two weeks to “flatten the curve” became two years of government dress codes, showing one’s “papers” on demand. Your policies wiped out my savings. People KILLED THEMSELVES over this, Jason. And this was all done at the behest of the CANADIAN government. And now, even after you’ve faded into obscurity, you continue to chase influence by attacking those who simply want a say in Alberta’s future in a Canada which does nothing but TAKE from them. It doesn’t surprise me, since when you Premier, you did nothing but TAKE from us as well. Your paycheque wasn’t affected by your lockdown - and when an MLA suggested that MLAs receive a pay cut while the lockdowns were in effect, he was run out of the legislature. You’re no better than the Liberals in Ottawa, Jason.

I’ve honestly never seen anything like this in my life. People are absolutely LOSING their minds over Albertans getting to vote. If you’re so sure Team Canada is going to win, then why are you all acting like Alberta asking a question is a national emergency? First we’re “seppies.” Then we’re “traitors.” Then “extremists.” Now apparently we’re secretly becoming the 51st state, there’s some grand Trump plot, America is coming to scoop us up, Russia is lurking in the bushes, foreign interference is everywhere, and democracy itself is apparently in danger because Albertans might check a box you don’t like. What’s next? Putin personally printed the ballots while Trump hid under Danielle Smith’s desk? The propaganda is so overcooked it’s starting to parody itself. Premiers. Prime ministers. Former premiers. Former prime ministers. Media outlets. Political talking heads. Everyone clutching their pearls because Alberta might actually get a say in Alberta’s future. We should ALWAYS get a say. It’s called Democracy!!!!! You work for us, remember??? Even when you hate the question. Even when you hate the people asking it. Even when you’re terrified of the answer. The fearmongering. The polls. The “foreign interference.” The 51st-state hysteria. The economic apocalypse predictions. The name-calling. And the boomers are BOOMING. I swear I’m living in the Twilight Zone. “Govern me harder, Daddy. Tax me more. Take more of my money. Ignore me harder. Just PLEASE don’t let my neighbours vote.” At this point it’s become so cartoonishly ridiculous that normal people aren’t even taking the bait anymore. And somehow, with every new hysterical headline, they look more desperate. If independence is truly as unpopular as they keep telling us, then relax. Let Alberta vote. The absolute panic is telling.
If there is proof of this all of those ballots need to be invalidated. I’m pretty sure the Act says ELECTORS may request a ballot. That doesn’t mean that a political party may request them. IF it’s true that the NDP is requesting these ballots it’s a violation of the Act.
This is Naheed Nenshi bragging about having "access to data that others don't". He's referring, of course, to the voter list. The NDP used the list to request 650,000 mail-in ballots from Elections Alberta for the upcoming referendum. They know exactly who came out to vote in

MAJOR BREAKING - New ATIP documents obtained by CBC show panic in the department of finance as the Alberta Referendum nears page 16 shows that Alberta contributes $18B to Canada MORE than it takes and that it contributes 31% of EXPORTS, with only 12% of the population. Also, on per capita basis, Alberta residents contribute the most to Federal coffers. Alberta, you are in charge here, they are FREAKING OUT. Canada needs YOU, you dont need THEM!
