GearStrike's Gaming Menagerie @GearWrite

I feel while it's not quite 'legit' compared to the original version of the game, it's a far more fast and fluid way to play and this game's plot/mechanics are quite solid for how old it is!

Been playing it with a double EXP/Meseta patch, removing the red flashing, rebalances most of the main cast, and increases the walking speed. I thought about playing this the original way it was meant to, but I found that with this particular project I wanted to get INTO JRPGs.

Hey there folks! So I just wanted to let you know I started a small project this year and that is to play more JRPGs! I kicked off the list with a nice classic on one of my fav systems that I never sat down and played before: Phantasy Star II!

Anyways I should post more gaming write ups or even twitter threads at some point, i got some words about the fucking rise of sequels this year and how fucking STELLAR NMH3, Psychonauts 2, and NEO TWEWY have been. Astounding stuff. Also Paprium is still a...thing I guess.

Long story short, I work full time now! It's great! I played through a bunch of shit lately thats been wonderful. It's great! I WANNA PLAY FFXIV AGAIN, THATS REALLY GREAT

*KICKS DOOR DOWN* HEY I HAVEN'T POSTED IN AGES HOLY SHIT!!

I NEEEEEEEED IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3 NO MORE HEROES 3

NEO: TWEWY is a day one buy for me. that demo kicked all kinds of ass.

Happy #Sonic30th to the franchise that got me into video games. And shoutouts to the two games that defined my childhood. I might give the franchise a lot of shit nowadays, but credit it where it's due... I wouldn't be the same without it.

.......Also it has the best fighting game boss theme, don't @ me: youtube.com/watch?v=iT4OVh…

.....Strive just really kicked off my love more for GG since I played Accent Core and XX back in the day lmfao Also been playing it casually with folks who are into it as well. Makes for a far greater time as a whole.

With that said, Strive is one of the weirdest fucking fighting games I have ever played and I REALLY don't know how I feel about it! I keep flipping between I love it and I hate it lmfao
