Well, I did it. My kid was thoroughly spoiled ahead of his birthday this week. I did everything I could to make sure he got very specific things he asked for, as I want him to know that his interests are important to all of us. I never felt that way as a kid.

I'm in this very real PTSD place that I can't seem to escape. 😅 It's taken me back to my abusive household, abusive exes.. And I can't shake it. It feels stupid because I'm safe but I guess I can't control how my body reacts.

His mom watched the kiddo yesterday and was supposed to today as I continued my strike, but she was so upset that it caused a migraine attack.. so my strike has to end. 😅 She was mad at my husband, not me.

I had an older man (70's) follow me around a store to talk to me today and it made me so uncomfortable that I had to just leave. He approached on three separate occasions. Please don't do that, even if you mean well. 🥲

I swear, no one seems to understand that you really need to decompress and focus on you after living in survival mode for 5 years now. On top of that, all while working a job that was traumatizing me daily. SW trauma is real and a lot of us deal with it.
