As someone who has had to deal with these tragic events, all I know is that there are dozens of reasons that may have caused that strike from failures in comms to equip malfunctions to human error. I can’t see gain for Israel to deliberately target them and believe the IDF .

@GeneralHillier Apparently @Heidi__Matthews is a military expert
@GeneralHillier They knew the route, who was going where and when. The IDF could have struck them to deter any aid workers from participating in helping those affected inside the territory. And that is exactly what happened. Ships carried aid turned around, and the WCK stopped operations.
Three successive mistakes, that hit three WCK trucks, that were some distance from each other? How common is that, in your experience General? Even CNN says they were precision hits quoting a former British Army officer: "... the heavy damage to the three vehicles was consistent with the use of “highly accurate drone fired missiles,” adding it was “hard to believe” the tragic incident was an accident." cnn.com/2024/04/03/mid…
@GeneralHillier Gain? Denying Palestinians food aid has been CENTRAL to Israel's genocide/strategy. Did you not read any of the ICJ submissions or decisions? You'll have to start reading more than IDF briefing notes to comment. Otherwise this is just stoking genocide.
@GeneralHillier There is no advantage in a single act; but there is in a pattern of behaviour. You are spinning a war crime, I am sorry to say.
@GeneralHillier Randy it is time for that big red pill. Yes Israel micromanaged all aspect of Gaza. Nothing and I mean nothing happens is Gaza outside of the IDF shere. Time to wake up. Much respect.
@GeneralHillier You mean to say “This was a tragic mistake, a full investigation should be launched immediately. Should the family of MCpl (Retired) Jacob Flickenger need anything at all I am at your full disposal, may he rest in peace and my condolences to all of the families” Right?
@GeneralHillier All of the possible explanations you have provided are purely speculative. While the IDF claims the strike was a mistake, the onus is on them to demonstrate how they met their precaution obligations. It is not for you to concoct their alibi when you do not know what happened.
