General Talos @GeneralTalos

@SpeakerDarkness A human could. But then he thought about how silly that was. “we better get going. Which one am I taking again?”

@SpeakerDarkness “Wow..” Talos stared at the horses in awe. They were beautiful. “I’ve never seen such beautiful horses. Well.. to think of it I don’t think I’ve seen a horse before. And they don’t mind that people will climb on their backs?” Talos was curious. He wondered if they could talk like

@SpeakerDarkness The horses. He couldn’t help but think he pulled her into something dangerous. Talos knew she could handle danger. But he didn’t want her to be in that position if she didn’t have to be.

@SpeakerDarkness Talos watched her for a moment before heading towards the gates. He felt paranoid. He waited near the doors, just far enough out of the way but enough that he would see her when she came. He couldn’t help but pace as he waited. He hoped she would at least be safe while she got-

@SpeakerDarkness The two were outside, Talos pulled her into a nearby alley. “We can’t go there right away. He’ll be suspicious. Let’s leave but pretend we’re going to find the items we need. But we have to get to my ship. I don’t want the weapons or the ship itself to fall into the wrong hands.”

@SpeakerDarkness Talos knew she sensed his panic. He hoped that Ancano guy didn’t sense it though. He hoped they could leave without him following, but he didn’t want them to run out so fast that it drew attention to Ancano. If he knew they were going to the ship, he would only follow. So, when-

@SpeakerDarkness Slightly pulling it to let her know they needed to go. And right now. He didn’t want anyone to find his ship. If they did, who knows what could happen if it was the wrong hands.

@SpeakerDarkness Talos stiffed a bit. He thought he had at least hidden that ship well. How did that man know it was there? Talos thought about how he had left it. He used a coaking device to cover it up, make it blend in. Did it fail? Or break? What happened? He grabbed at Rocky’s hand-

@SpeakerDarkness Ears similar to Talos’ original form coming towards them. He realized this must be that who they were going to see. “Don’t worry, I’ll stop him if he becomes too much.” Talos whispered in Rocky’s ear just as the pair met up with this man.

@SpeakerDarkness “I wouldn’t mind going. If you want to get away from him as quickly as we can.” He grabbed the handle and opened the door. He scanned the room seeing if he could find whoever was making her this frightened when he heard someone call her name. He saw a tall man with pointy-

@SpeakerDarkness Would scare this guy enough he would leave her alone. If he could find his ship, he would get some of the weapons he had. That would really scare him then.

@SpeakerDarkness He smiled and rested a hand on her shoulder “come on, let’s go see this guy. Then maybe we can get on with our quest.” He figured if they left, maybe that guy wouldn’t follow. And they could forget all about him. He really wish he could show the true form of himself. Maybe it-

@SpeakerDarkness “Are you alright?” He could tell she was nervous. “I could go with you. Maybe he won’t be as bad with me there.” He thought maybe Talos would intimidate this guy a little if he knew Rocky wasn’t alone. He stood up from the bed and went over to the door. “What do you say?”

@SpeakerDarkness Because of him. They had a mission, so to speak. And they were going to go on it whenever he was ready. And if he wanted to be ready now he would be.

@SpeakerDarkness “I wouldn’t let him think that. But if you’re sure.” He watched her, seeing how she would react to that. If she wanted to go, he would gladly leave. He didn’t care if he was tired. He didn’t care about whoever this nosy person was. He would make sure he knew they weren’t leaving-

@SpeakerDarkness Talos tilt his head in a sort of puppy like manner. “Why do I think he’s not actually an old friend by your reaction?” He munched on his roll as he watched her seem to tense up. “Do we need to get out of here? I’m sure I could create some sort of distraction if we need to.”

@SpeakerDarkness Talos suddenly realized he was more hungry than he thought. He ate the rest of the sweet roll and reached for another one. But as he did he heard Rocky curse and he was confused. Did she not like him going for the food anymore? “What’s the matter?”

@SpeakerDarkness To be upset. And he needed the strength. He took a small bite of the roll.

@SpeakerDarkness Talos stared at the roll in her hand. “Is that the roll you showed me before?” He slowly took it from her but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to eat it. He still felt sick. The dream was still haunting him a bit. But he knew he needed to eat at some point. Or she was probably going-

@SpeakerDarkness “But... the people we’re fighting. They came here somehow.” He could picture the whole thing as if it was a real memory. “They fought everyone. They killed my people. Your people.” He felt like he could cry. All these people dead. Innocent people.

@SpeakerDarkness Talos looked at the food, as good as it looked.. he didn’t know if he could stomach it. “They came..” he started, looking down at the floor “my people were here. We thought we were safe.” He felt fear rising up in him again, the dream still felt so real to him. - - -
