Dearest Mother, Today was a day like no other. My men executed perfectly against the miners from the El Paso. Although we may have won this first battle, the war rages on, and we must continue to improve in order to achieve our lofty goals and bring peace to the plains. -Brent

Dearest Mother, I can hardly find the motivation to sleep on this warm Norman night. At dawn tomorrow, we begin official preparations for war this fall. The troops have trained their minds, bodies, and spirits all summer long. God bless this wonderful group of men. Best, Brent

Dearest Mother- I write to you a renewed and hopeful man, my quill shakes with excitement. Our platoon’s midwinter workout regiment is going splendidly. The new soldiers are under the watchful eye of General Schmitty and he assures to have them in tip-top shape by fall. -Brent
