Yikes! Just took a quick look on @amazon and @Walmart and noticed that even after years of technology availability, and (2) Carbon Monoxide Safety Standards, these e-commerce sites are facilitating the sale of tons of unsafe generators. @USCPSC @FTC @FeldmanCPSC

Always place the generator at least 20 feet from the house with the engine exhaust directed away from windows and doors so you don't end up DEAD. CO is an odorless, smokeless gas that is invisible, and deadly. Stay safe

In other new … y’all please be careful with them generators. Me and CJ almost woke up dead Friday morning after the generator was turned towards the house and carbon monoxide got in. Thank God we woke up in time.
