So yesterday, after my post about the Supreme Court taking away a woman's right to choose, I was told, "You're not a fucking woman. Don't speak for us." Let me just say: I don't give a damn that I'm not a woman. I'm gonna keep fighting for woman's rights, and I'm gonna voice my opinions and my concerns. For the life of me, I cannot understand how ANY woman can condone, approve, and defend all these ridiculous anti-abortion laws the Republican Party has implemented, or are attempting to implement. For God's sake, in Idaho, physicians are advising their pregnant patients, or those trying to become pregnant, to purchase memberships with helicopter medical companies to avoid legal and potentially significant costs if they need to travel for urgent care. In Oklahoma, legislation was introduced to assign a “unique patient identifier” to women who obtain an abortion that would allow them to be identified by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. That is to say, Republicans in Oklahoma want to brand women like cattle. In FIVE Texas counties and in Idaho laws have been passed denying women the FREEDOM to travel out of state for healthcare in the so called "land of the free." How the fuck can ANY woman support and defend this!?! I may not be a woman, but I'll be dammed if I keep my mouth shut and let this shit go unnoticed and unrecognized. ATTACK ME ALL THE FUCK YOU WANT!!
@GenoVeno73 I’m assuming that the woman who told you not to speak for us is okay with her rights being taken away. Because I think if women do care about their rights taken away, they’d want men to advocate for them. I know I’m glad to see men stand up for our rights!
@GenoVeno73 We need every man who has a mom, sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece or a female friend to stand with women against what is an EGREGIOUS violation of women’s HUMAN RIGHTS. You are most welcome to join us and I personally thank you for your support sir!
@GenoVeno73 Most asinine argument I’ve ever heard, that’s not even the point, it’s the authoritarian principle and the taking away of fundamental and basic rights is my issue, whether it’s women, POC, voting, and it’s not protecting individual rights, which is the essential purpose of govt
@GenoVeno73 Taking women’s health care rights away is affecting men too. Especially men who aren’t ready to be fathers yet. If life starts at conception, so does child support.
@GenoVeno73 I would believe that. I actually saw a WOMAN advocating for the repeal of the 19th amendment, and at least one other woman agreed.
