Geoff Cookson @GeoffCookson

I would like to see people like Ross Gittens ( economics) and other rational experts in areas like climate change, immigration , education etc as a sideline eye on Insiders each week. An expert to fact check and comment on claims (bs) made by the guest and other panelists.

Did you notice the symmetry between Sheridans early comments and Jane Hume’s in her Insiders interview? Maybe that’s why she “did very well” according to him.

Bunker supported Knights Captains Challenges three times to overrule Kleins poor on field calls against them. Officials calls evened out. WAHS won the acting award. Knights won the game.

@Jeff4theclimate And how many of those who later realised they didn’t need to raid their Super during Covid but did, put it back? Thousands lost in compound interest over subsequent years.

@AEUfederal These slurs against teachers are just another window of grievance without evidence opened by right wing politicians for people to get upset about. They are trying to promote hate and a sense of being wronged when there is no problem. It’s low base electioneering.

@TheKouk The ABS should examine the +10% (at least) degree of difficulty pa our great teachers , nurses and other people professionals have dealt with before publishing a figure of .2% pa drop in “productivity” (4% )over the past 20 years. Based on what?

I didn’t know about the huge threat to Australia that talking about Japanese melons on a distant podcast posed. Until I watched the enthralling Insiders today. I am so worried.

@MFWitches When the time comes I’m voting for costed policies and sane , believable and proven leaders that appeal to my thinking and demonstrate a love for democracy, unity and a great future for our nation no matter what the challenges are.

I can understand Cameron Smiths anguish at the State of Origin match . After all he has vast and successful experience in influencing referee decisions on. The field but there he was trapped in the commentary box with Blues fanatic Joey. The injustice!

@MikeCarlton01 @HelenanMimi Going way too far. This is a democratic country. Reliable Information negative or positive should be available not denied or twisted by those who don’t like it.

Emphatic win by NSW not because one close decision went their way but because they were dominant in all facets of the game and clearly proved it on the scoreboard. Nathan Cleary got time thanks to his forwards to show his class. End of story.

When Nikki Saava said that Tony Abbott is the “ alleged” President of the Liberal Party on Insiders everyone knew what she meant.

Pauline- Concoctions Fears Illusions of Strength without power Scrap SBS ( multicultural ) Scrap Aboriginals Support (racist) Nuclear power back Run from scrutiny (ABC/SBS/Guardian/Within ON) Cuts cuts cuts Blind to consequences Follow me over the cliff stuff. No way.

In this daily fog of lies , blame and negativity without power or credible policy Labor IS governing strongly in very difficult times for ALL Australians now and into the future. The screeching shadow puppets worked by powerful hands are pathetic replacements.

@NannanBay @philmupp1 Phil Coorey and S Maiden were not on Insiders at Chalmers interview by accident. Part of a wide organised attack. Not one bit of praise for the Budget from them or Speers but did hear A Kohler , not on a mission, speaking factual logic. TG he was there! More him ! Less them!

When a govt adopts a good ( for Australia) opposition policy that’s smart! Far better than ignoring or attacking it. Labor is doing that. Turnbull tried , knowing that most people wanted climate change action but was dumped as he dared to change Lib thinking. Poor decision.

Reading the comments on Nikki Savva (Insiders) is like watching a game of “force-em-backs” ( footy kicking duel). She is calmly and wisely in the sensible centre smiling knowingly as the ball , kicked by truth deniers , sails harmlessly overhead. Thumbs up!

What a deception that Matt C says to move on from “the Voice” ( we have) when it was about access to government not the state of indigenous homes nor of social criminal tragedy. Poor care and property damage can be found Aus wide. Feeding the haters for ON votes = being ON.

@QuentinDempster @MichaelPascoe01 @AngusTaylorMP @michelle4farrer Desperate Angus wants to swap ON preferences . But he criticises them for having no policies or of changing them from day to day. Thanks to an alert Lenore Taylor who identified the hypocrisy when David Speers squibbed his chance to point this out during the (soft) interview.

@TonyHWindsor There is money and power in inventing promoting and celebrating hate and grievance for the howlers cult. But it’s lazy, dishonest, divisive and deplorable . No policies and hard work needed. Thankfully Clear thinking Australians vote NO to this deception from ON.
