A serious question - In view of capitulation of New SNP has Scotland now been deprived for decades to come of a peaceful political route to Independence?
@GetIndyDone No there’s still time. It’s a significant challenge and a switch to voting for other indy parties is the only ‘political party’ route. One where a majority in Scottish Parliament is obtained in 2026. Stand on a ticket of Indy. Otherwise it’s a bun fight for ever more.
@GetIndyDone All that is required is an election run on the sole issue that 50%+1 for all indy participating parties involved in that election means we begin negotiations with Westminster. SNP involvement is not actually required.
@GetIndyDone Maybe! Not sure if decades is proper descriptions, but I'd go so far as to say maybe it is A decade.
@GetIndyDone No. The SNP has hindered Scotland without a doubt. They have deliberately divided the independence movement with their niche interests. But, we are bigger than any political party. Independence is rising while the SNP are sinking into the quagmire of their own making!
