Imagine the DB query here: not just WHERE email = ? AND password = ? but now also SELECT user FROM users WHERE password = ? 🤦♂️ Problems: 1️⃣ Slower queries (you’re scanning everyone’s password) 2️⃣ Collisions (yes, multiple users do use the same password) All for one terrible UX suggestion 😂
